The 2024/25 UEFA Champions League season delivered a historic finale as Paris Saint-Germain claimed their first-ever Champions League title, dismantling Inter Milan 5–0 at Munich’s Allianz Arena on 31 May 2025. A season full of milestones, breakout stars, and dramatic nights came to a spectacular close in Bavaria.
🏆 Champions: Paris Saint-Germain
PSG had an exceptional campaign in the 2024/25 Champions League. After a slow start, they finished 15th in the league phase (new 36-team format) with 4 wins, 1 draw, and 3 losses. The Parisians had to go through a play-off round against Brest to make it to the round of 16. They then eliminated Liverpool on penalties (1–1 on aggregate), edged past Aston Villa in the quarter-finals (5–4 on aggregate), and outclassed Arsenal in the semi-finals (2–1, 1–0).
In the final, PSG delivered a flawless final performance, with goals from Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Désiré Doué (x2), and Senny Mayulu, completing a stunning 5–0 victory over Inter Milan. It marked the club’s first Champions League title, finally achieving the European glory that had long eluded them.
