Europa Conference League format
The competition has changed its format similarly to the other two European club competitions (the Champions League and Europa League). The Conference League will begin with several qualifying rounds, followed by a league stage. The final is played as a single match and on neutral ground.
League phase (September – December 2025)
The thirty-six clubs are drawn into the same League and will play a total of 6 matches each. The first eight at the end of this first phase qualify to the last 16. The teams between rank 9 and 24 are drawn into a play-offs to allocate the remaining eight places in the round of 16.
