About Craven Cottage, Fulham's home ground
Craven Cottage has been Fulham’s home ground since 1896 and is situated on the bank of the River Thames. Originally, Craven Cottage was a royal hunting lodge and has a history dating back more than 300 years.
The ground used to be home to Fulham Rugby League club and has hosted international matches.
The four stands that comprise Craven Cottage are the Hammersmith End, the Putney End, the Riverside Stand and the Johnny Haynes Stand. The latter is the oldest remaining stand in the Football League or Premier League, built-in 1905 and is a Grade 2 listed building.
The pavilion next to the Johnny Haynes Stand dates back to 1905 and houses the changing rooms and players’ family lounge.
