About the Women’s Champions League

Group stages

A total of 16 clubs are drawn into 4 groups of 4 (A to D) and a total of 48 matches are played in a round-robin format during the group stages of the Women’s Champions League from October until December. Only eight teams advance from the Group stages (the 4 group winners and the four runners-up) to the competition’s quarterfinals.

Knockout stages

The knockout stage of the Women’s Champions League regroups the 8 best European Women’s football clubs. The Women’s Champions League final will take place in the last weekend of May 2024 in Bilbao, Spain.
