About London stadium, West Ham's home ground
The London Stadium has been home to the Hammers since the 2016-17 season when they moved from their famous old Boleyn Ground at Upton Park.
The stadium was built for the 2012 Olympic Games, after which West Ham United gained an agreement to use the ground as their new home ground.
The ground has four stands, the East and West Stands span the sides of the pitch, and the Bobby Moore Stand and Sir Trevor Brooking Stand behind each goal.
As well as football and athletics, the stadium has also hosted Major League Baseball matches, motor racing and Rugby internationals for both codes of the game.

The London Stadium is located in the Stratford area of East London and is easily accessible by train. Stratford, Stratford International, Stratford High Street, Pudding Mill Lane and Hackney Wick stations are all within easy reach of the ground.
Stratford Station has many regular mainline, underground and overground services, while Stratford International, Stratford High Street and Pudding Mill Lane stations are on the Docklands Light Railway. London Overground services serve Hackney Wick Station.
