About Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace's home ground

Selhurst Park was opened in 1924 and has been home to Crystal Palace home matches ever since. It hosted international football and was a venue for the 1948 Summer Olympic Games.

The ground was last renovated in 2014. Its current capacity is 25,456 spectators.

There are four stands at Selhurst Park, with the Holmesdale Road End behind the goal at the South-East end of the stadium; the Arthur Wait Stand, which is situated down one side of the pitch; the Main Stand, located down the opposite side; and the Whitehorse Lane Stand behind the other goal, home to the Family Enclosure and 24 luxury Executive Boxes.

Seating categories at Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace has five different seating categories at Selhurst Park, ranging from Category 1 (most expensive) to Category 5. They are:
Category 1: Centre section of the Main Stand, either side of the Director’s Box
Category 2:

  • Either side of the Category 1 sections in the Main Stand
  • At the front of the upper tier of the Holmesdale Road End.

Category 3: Behind the Category 2 sections in the upper tier of the Holmesdale Road End.

Category 4:

  • Both corners of the Main Stand
  • Arthur Wait Stand (not including the away fan sections)

Category 5: Waterside Lane End (family enclosure)

How to get to Selhurst Park in London

Selhurst Park is located in South-East London, within easy reach of Selhurst, Thornton Heath and Norwood Junction stations. These stations provide regular direct services to London Victoria and London Bridge.

Several bus routes run to Selhurst Park, while the club also encourages fans to cycle to games, offering free bike storage at the ground.
