Jupiler Pro League 2026-2027 Fixtures Released: Key Dates Confirmed

The 2026-2027 Jupiler Pro League fixture list was officially released on Thursday, June 18th, 2026. While the World Cup is taking centre stage in North America, Belgian football is already looking ahead to a new domestic campaign, one that will mark a major change in the recent history of the league.

The Jupiler Pro League returns to a more traditional format this season. There will be 18 clubs, 34 matchdays and, most importantly, no play-offs. The campaign begins on Friday, August 7th, 2026, with Club Brugge hosting KV Kortrijk, and will conclude over the weekend of May 21st to May 23rd, 2027.

Every point will count from the first whistle to the final day. There will be no points halved, no Championship Play-offs and no Relegation Play-offs to reshape the table in spring. The final standings after 34 rounds will decide the Belgian champions, European qualification and relegation places.

The 18 Clubs in the 2026-2027 Jupiler Pro League

Club Brugge begin the season as reigning Belgian champions. Union Saint-Gilloise, last season’s runners-up and Croky Cup winners, will be eager to confirm their status as one of the country’s leading forces.

Anderlecht, Genk, Antwerp, Standard Liège and KAA Gent will also have strong arguments to make in the battle for European qualification. Behind the main contenders, Charleroi, KV Mechelen, Westerlo, Sint-Truiden, OH Leuven, Zulte Waregem, Cercle Brugge and RAAL La Louvière will aim to establish themselves in the top half or at least secure a comfortable mid-table position.

Promoted sides KV Kortrijk, Lommel SK and SK Beveren will need to adapt quickly to the demands of the top flight. In a season without play-offs, there will be little room for error: the bottom two clubs will be relegated directly.
