A Winter Pause at Christmas

The Eredivisie will stop for its winter break after the 17th round of matches on December 20th, 2026. The league is scheduled to resume on the weekend of 8, 9 and 10 of January 2027 with matchday 18.

International Breaks

The Dutch top flight will pause three times during the season for international fixtures.

The first break comes after matchday 7, with the league stopping from September 20th until the return of action on October 11th. The second international window runs from 8 to 22 of November.
