The 20 Clubs in Serie A 2026-2027

Inter Milan enter the new season as defending champions and will be eager to prove that last year’s triumph was no one-off. The Nerazzurri will be the team to beat, but the pressure on them will be enormous.

Their old rivals AC Milan and Juventus, who finished fifth and sixth respectively last season, will be desperate to bounce back after disappointing campaigns. Both clubs will be expected to return to the top end of the table and challenge Inter’s authority.

Napoli and Roma will also be part of the conversation, while Como 1907, brilliant fourth-place finishers last season under Cesc Fàbregas, will try to confirm that their rise was built to last. Lazio, Atalanta and Fiorentina should also have the quality to challenge for European places.

At the other end of the table, newly promoted AC Monza, Venezia FC and Frosinone face the difficult task of staying in Serie A and avoiding an immediate return to the second division.

  • Reigning champions: Inter Milan
  • Qualified for the Champions League: Inter Milan, Napoli, AS Roma, Como 1907
  • Qualified for the Europa League: AC Milan, Juventus
  • Qualified for the Conference League: Atalanta
  • Promoted clubs: AC Monza, Venezia FC and Frosinone
