Coming off a stellar 2023/24 campaign in which Real Madrid clinched a League title and yet another Champions League trophy, the club will be playing some pre-season matches this summer. If you are looking for information on Real Madrid’s 2024 preseason tour, you have come to the right place! Here’s what we know so far:
- Most Real Madrid players will head back to training by mid-July at the Ciudad Deportiva de Valdebebas, in Madrid. International players who have had Euro or Copa América commitments with their national teams will be incorporated progressively until the start of the US tour.
- In the USA, Real Madrid will play three friendly games, part of the ‘Soccer Champions Tour’
- The Merengue will return to Europe for the Super Cup against in Warsaw on August 14th.

Real Madrid will tour the USA this summer
As part of the 2024 US tour, Madrid will play three fixtures in the United States this summer. First, on July 31st, Real Madrid will be opposed to AC Milan in Chicago’s Soldier Field Stadium for their first pre-season match. The second fixture, a clásico against arch-rivals FC Barcelona, will take place at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on August 3rd. Finally, three days later, Premier League powerhouse Chelsea will test Ancelotti’s men at the Bank of Americas Stadium in Charlotte.
- Real Madrid CF – AC Milan on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024 at Soldier Field Stadium, Chicago
- FC Barcelona – Real Madrid CF on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford
- Real Madrid CF – Chelsea on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 at Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte
European Supercup in Warsaw against Atalanta
After their last friendly match in the USA, Los Blancos will have eight days to prepare for their first official match of the season, the European Super Cup. As Champions League winners, they will face the Europa League winners, Atalanta, at the National Stadium in Warsaw on August 14th (kick-off at 9:00 p.m.).
- Atalanta – Real Madrid CF on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024 at PGE Narodowy, Warsaw
An away match at Mallorca to start La Liga
Madrid will then only have a few days’ rest before the start of their domestic campaign, as they will begin their Liga season at Mallorca, on Sunday, 18th of August 2024.
