About City Ground, Nottingham's home ground
The City Ground was opened in 1898 and has been home to Nottingham Forest since it was built. Situated on the bank of the River Trent, the ground played host to three Group D matches at Euro ’96.
The four stands are named the Bridgford Stand, the Trent End and unsurprisingly, the Peter Taylor Stand and Brian Clough Stand down each side of the pitch in honour of the famously successful managerial double-act.
Forest are currently seeking planning permission to redevelop the ground to increase capacity to 38,000.
City Ground's capacity: 30,445
